JOHN McGUIN
John's introduction to jiu jitsu was first inspired by his love for the martial artist Nick Diaz. Upon doing further research, he discovered that Nick practiced Gracie Jiu Jitsu. John then rented UFC 1 and found out who Royce Gracie was and the rest was history. He began his jiu jitsu training in 2008 and received his official Gracie Jiu Jitsu black belt on December 9th, 2019 from Grand Master Helio Gracie’s grandsons Ryron and Rener Gracie. John is also a Certified Gracie University instructor. Today, John enjoys giving back to jiu jitsu by teaching and spreading his love for it. His passion is to empower others the same way he was empowered.
THOMAS McGUIN
Thomas's introduction to jiu jitsu was first inspired during a visit to a Ryron Gracie seminar with his brother John at Westview High School. Ryron instantly became one of his mentors and as a result, Thomas decided to devote his life to the art of jiu jitsu. Thomas continued to train and received his official Gracie Jiu Jitsu black belt on December 9th, 2019 from Grand Master Helio Gracie’s grandsons Ryron and Rener Gracie. Thomas is also a Gracie University Certified Instructor. Today, Thomas enjoys teaching in the community and spreading his knowledge of jiu jitsu to those who seek it.
